The major advantage of oils+fats as trade fair for technology and innovations is its international diversity. Two thirds of participants come from across the globe, and most importantly of all: The vast majority are decision-makers.

Participants: 35 percent domestic, 65 percent from abroad

oils+fats is the internationally recognized trade fair for the oils and fats industry. Two thirds of participants come from abroad with representation from every continent. Most importantly, the vast majority of them are decision-makers: 82 percent of trade visitors make decisions on purchases and investments.

The large majority of the participants at oils+fats (57 percent) are producers of oils, fats, cooking oils and fats, animal feed, biofuels, detergents, lubricants, etc.

The second largest group of participants is made up of manufacturers of machines and facilities (12 percent).The rest of the exhibitors are refiners of crude oils and fats (4 percent), service providers (4 percent), oils and fats traders (3 percent) and other research and development institutions such as universities, technical colleges, and vocational colleges. (14 percent of exhibitors cannot be assigned to a specific group).
