oils+fats already has nearly 70 exhibitors from 13 countries

oils+fats, the International Trade Fair for the Manufacture and Processing of Oils and Fats Made from Renewable Raw Materials, will open its gates at the M,O,C, Event Centre in Munich for the very first time from November 20 – 22, 2007. At present, nearly 70 of the market's leading companies from 13 countries have registered for the fair. The share of foreign exhibitors is currently around 30 percent.

"Despite a short planning phase of just eight months, we still managed to set up a niche exhibition for a future-oriented industry that has a great deal of potential," said Norbert Bargmann, Managing Director at Munich International Trade Fairs. "oils+fats 2007 will evolve into an important industry gathering for the oils and fats industry."

oils+fats is the only international trade fair for the manufacture and processing of oils and fats, making it the perfect platform for establishing business contacts and exchanging information with market, opinion and company leaders. The fair will also be rounded out by an attractive program of related events. Seminars and short courses focusing on practical solutions will give interested participants first-hand information on the latest topics of interest to the oils and fats industry.

On November 21 and 22, ID&A Ignace Debruyne & Associates Filtration and Membrane World LLC will hold a practical short course in English on Advanced Edible Oil Refining & Processing: Case Studies and Trouble Shooting. On November 22, there will be a half-day seminar on Industrial Uses of Vegetable Oils: Biodiesel, Ink, Bio-based Solvents, and Lubricants.

BDOel (Federal Association of Decentralized Oil Mills) will hold a series of seminars in German on each day of oils+fats: It all starts with a Sensors Seminar on testing (tasting) rapeseed oil, followed by a Taxation and Legal Seminar for oil millers on November 21. On the same day, the series will conclude with a seminar on Technical Optimization and Quality Assurance in Decentralized Oil Mills.

oils+fats is being held at the M,O,C, Event Centre in Munich from November 20 – 22, 2007. It is the only international trade fair that focuses on the production and processing of oils and fats. It covers everything from raw and auxiliary materials to processing, quality assurance, packaging and logistics, informing visitors about the latest trends and technological developments. About the M,O,C, Event Center
